From the days of Al Capone, flappers and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US!
The prescription was prescribed for J. T. Glenn, by Dr. R. H. Lenert, on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1927, and was filled the same day by Pharmacist, Theo. Schimmachey, of Tristram's Pharmacy in Brenham, TX. The prescription measures 6 1/2" x 6 1/4", has a piece off one corner, some age toning on two corners and light bends, otherwise, condition is excellent...a terrific script!
This is a FANTASTIC piece of History and would be great to display in a pharmacy, restaurant, bar, museum or office! I am appy to answer any questions, please feel free to email, thanks!
