Highlights
Due to the spiral patterned soft nylon head, some will flake off during use. This is normal.

This Leather Tooling Maul uses a tapered, spiral patterned nylon head with stainless steel hardware and fittings. The vegetable tanned leather handle is polished but uncoated which will cause it to change color with use. Includes a round leather cutout that can be used to add a custom inlay in the end.

I ordered from this seller for while now. on tools they usually charge 5 bucks for shipping, but it's not too bad. quality of their tools are nice this mallet i was looking at for while. this time i saw it was free shipping so i went for it. no regrets, really nice mallet. great feel in hand. i had started my first leather tooling project with cheap straight mallet. what a difference with that tapered and heavier one. and pretty decent quality and price as compared to Barry King. Overall: great first impression, great shipping, item was well packaged and performance great. thank you.
