Sizes: Please note that the width could slightly differ from what’s in the product description and that depends on the side (top, middle or bottom of the rug) from where the width measurement was taken. The fact that vintage Moroccan rugs are not “perfect square” is simply because they are not machine made, they are all handmade on traditional wooden looms, a technique that is thousands of years old that does not provide machine precision and that’s what makes each rug a unique piece of art . Tassels are not included in the length measurement.

Edges that aren't straight, natural fading and small repairs are typical characteristics, while additional imperfections and wear patterns may be evident. We believe these visual elements only enhance their story of being truly unique treasures. They have stood the test of time. These items are stunning artistic masterpieces for the home.

**********RUG CARE AND MAINTENANCE**********

To elongate the life of a rug, we recommend several things.

1) If possible, purchase and use a rug pad.

2) Vacuum regularly (depending on usage); we recommend the use of vacuums that do not have a brush or a beater bar. Try to limit the type of vacuum to suction-only options.

3) For vacuums with a brush, make sure the vacuum has a setting of high height to avoid agitating the rug excessively and damage the wool fiber.

4) When vacuuming, always go with the direction of the fibers to prevent crushing the fibers of the wool rug.

5) If spilled upon, spot clean immediately. If treatment with cleaning aid is necessary, test a small portion of a corner first.

6) For the removal of spots or small stains, firstly soak up the spill. Mix a little white vinegar, water or small amount of mild detergent soap in a cup and brush gently with a toothbrush or gently sponge

7) If after a few years your rug requires a full clean we advise you hire the services of a professional rug cleaner. However it is possible to hand wash your rug in cold water if you have the space, hose the rug off and let it dry in the warm sun. Do a spot test first to check that no colors will run.

8) Rotate rug once or twice a year to balance sun exposure and traffic patterns.

9) Do not place a potted plant on a rug. Big no-no. The chances of wetness are extremely high, no matter how careful you think you are. Just don’t do it.

10) If you decide to store your rug , a handful of lavender seeds in a small fabric bag placed inside your folded rug will keep moths away.

Refunds are gladly given if the item does not end up being a good fit for your home or purpose, but we do require that the buyer pays for original, return shipping and any custom fees incurred as a result of the return. The item must be returned in its original condition before refund can be given. You have 3 days from the day you receive the item to return it for a full refund (minus original, return shipping and any custom fees incurred by the seller as a result of the return). **Returns are accepted as stated above except for in the instance when a negotiation on price is made between buyer and seller or a "best offer" is accepted by the seller -- in this instance it is assumed as it is stated in our policy that all sales are final unless otherwise discussed.

DAMAGES
We will look at every instance of damaged mail on a case-by-case basis, so no matter what, always contact us if the shipment arrives in a less than satisfactory way!

**If you receive your item, and the exterior of the package looks damaged, we do ask that you take photographs of the damage and contact us before opening. This is the best way to prove damage through an insurance claim. Please note that all discounted items are considered FINAL SALE.
