DIY the Carryall Kate Backpack! This pattern is an easy tutorial to make a large satchel which will carry all your stuff! The instructions are easy and include lots of step-by-step photos. Rotary cutting instructions are included, as are paper patterns you can print out to use if you'd prefer.
Make this backpack with lots of storage - it has 3 pockets under the lower flap, a flat side pocket for cellphone, a pleated side pocket for a full-size water bottle, and a secure zipper pocket in back. The top drawstring closure is covered by another flap. Inside there is a divided zipper pocket, 2 pen pockets, and 2 small pockets. It has adjustable straps and a hanging loop.
EASY construction techniques and rotary cutting make it quick to make. Or use the paper patterns you can print out yourself if you prefer!
