Truly well used and loved...this mini print in red, white and green on faded grey reminds me of a sweet old lady that is a dear old soul. The large milk glass etched button still has the old thread sewn through and the frayed ends hanging on. This is a sweet memory of days gone by.

Each and every yo yo accessory item is unique in design. They can be enjoyed many ways--as hair clips, brooch, lapel pin, purse adornment or the finishing touch on a beautifully wrapped gift.

They are handmade using repurposed vintage fabric feedsack yo yo’s. All of the original yo-yo’s were lovingly stitched many years ago by someone who intended them to be made into a quilt...these are truly antique items! Because of this, you may expect the fabrics to show naturally aged characteristics such as color variations and wrinkles.

Hand detailing consists of authentic vintage buttons that are creatively matched to the fabrics and firmly sewn in place with coordinating thread and/or glue. Many of the buttons are layered with more than one button when color, size and design allowed for the multiple combinations. Buttons are a variation of colors and materials, such as fabric, wood, shell, glass and vintage plastic. Finely detailed and smooth shell buttons may show a worn patina. Old plastics will sometimes show heat cracks and rub marks. Wood buttons will show wear and pealing paint. These are badges of authenticity to the fact that they have spent many years in service before retiring to button baskets and tins. They are qualities that add personality and character desirable for vintage appeal.

There are three (3) options for finishing the back side for mounting. This finishing step is completed at the time of your order making them customized for your purposes. (See photos)
Upcycled wool circle cut outs will give the item a beautifully finished look.

Finished Mounting Choices:
1) 1 3/4" black alligator clip for hair
2) 3/4" black brooch spring pin for lapel
3) both alligator clip and brooch spring pin mounted side-by-side ($1 upcharge)

These are truly one-of-a-kind. No two will be alike. We intend for these to become well-loved heirlooms that you may want to mount in memory books.

You may email me for specific color combinations. We have many yo yos yet to be matched to their perfectly mated buttons. There is always the possibility that we may be able to come up with a “uniquely you” combination to match that special outfit.

Each hair bow will come beautifully mounted on a decorative card and packaged ready for gifting.

NOTE: Although firmly hand-stitched and glued together, never leave small children unattended while wearing hair pieces, as small parts may become loose and represent a choking hazard.

Vintage items, by nature are not new, rarely perfect, and are sold AS IS. As always, we very much encourage your inquiries and will gladly provide additional photos necessary. It is always better to know the details before purchase and we will attempt to satify your requests for more information.

If something was not displayed properly or was misrepresented convo me and we will so our best to work it out. Positive feedback is very important to us, and we would appreciate having the oppurtunity to satisfy any issues you may have.

CHANGE YOUR MIND? If you change your mind BEFORE your item has been shipped, there will be a 5% return fee to cover our non-refundable Etsy listing and purchase fees.

DIDN'T RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE? In the unlikely event that your INSURED package was lost in shipping, we will handle the insurance claim. USPS will not pay on a claim until the package has been reported missing for 30 days. At that time, we will begin the claims process which will require an affidavit from the buyer.

For what ever reason, your shipment is UNCLAIMED upon delivery, and thus returned to us, we will refund your purchase price less a 25% restocking fee, ONLY at your request. Buyer pays all shipping charges. Returned items will be relisted for sale after 30 days.

The following applies only to items shipped USPS Priority or if additional INSURANCE was purchased at the time of shipping: Please inform us via Etsy convo of the damage and provide detailed photos and a written description. It can take up to 3-4 weeks for a claim to be processed. Light&Laughter will refund up to the insured amount only after USPS (or 3rd party insurer) pays out on the claim.
