To commemorate the women who helped shape our nation, We design and hand-make cloth ornaments -- each based on our unique drawings. Other ornaments include: Harriet Tubman, Rosie the Riveter, Wendy the Welder, Eleanor Roosevelt, Sally Ride, Mae Jemison, No Teno Quah / Grace Thorpe, Susan Ahn Cuddy, Bessie Coleman, Bessie Stringfield, Amelia Earhart, and others.

Our exclusive ABIGAIL ADAMS cloth ornament's original drawing is based on a pastel portrait painted around 1766** by Benjamin Blyth (Massachusetts Historical Society collection). Since the portrait only showed her head, we had added known clothing and artifacts that belonged to Abigail.
• Blue dress worn by Abigail shown with bodice shown in portrait
• Needlepoint sewn by Abigail for a pocket is added to dress
• Pale yellow kid slippers peek out from the skirt
• Lace fan held belonged to Abigail (National Museum of American History collection)

** 1776, the year the portrait was painted by the same year that Abigail wrote:
"...remember the ladies and be more generous and favorable to them than your ancestors. Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the husbands. Remember, all men would be tyrants if they could. If particular care and attention is not paid to the ladies, we are determined to foment a rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any laws in which we have no voice or representation.”

The cloth figure of ABIGAIL ADAMS is handmade with love in Maine. Each ornament is unique.

Wonderfully made- the sash sits well on your body. The pin looked legit and the sign is just big enough to spread the message yet small enough to carry throughout the day. ✨I got many compliments!

Absolutely perfect! The seller was amazing and helped ensure delivery time. My daughter used this for her costume for a Living History Museum, where she dressed as Lucy Burns. We now have the items displayed in her room. The two information cards were such an awesome addition and I love that this set even exists! What an amazing way to instill pride into our young girls and to also show them how just over 100 years ago, we didn’t have the right to have our voices heard. I think it’s also a great reminder that any progress we make is only because others fought to better our society! If you are questioning buying from this seller, just do it!! You won’t be disappointed!

Super fast mailing! The suffrage rosette and sash were just the fun details needed for an exhibit for Women's History Month.
