Small Wooden Weaving Loom, 4" 8-Pin, Miniature Potholder Maker

Meet the Min-E, the newest and smallest of our "Little Loopy" collection of wooden potholder looms. This 4-inch, 8-pin loom (only $35) is a real handful, but it's perfect for making miniature potholders for key rings, zipper pulls, doll houses, and memory boxes. The best loops to use on this tiny loom are hair elastics. The finished weavings will be about 1" x 1" to 2" x 2", depending on the size elastics used. Due to the small size, a crochet hook ($2 each, listed separately) is very helpful when you are doing the weaving and binding off.
Our looms are made by hand from Indiana Poplar wood with specially shaped metal pins to help hold the loops in place and prevent injury. Please note that weaving hooks and crochet hooks are NOT included with the single looms but are available separately.
Here is how we make the looms:
We start with the roughsawn boards from a local sawmill,
plane them down to size,
cut into strips,
dado the corners,
assemble the frames,
sand the wood,
drill the holes,
insert the pins,
set the pins,
and brand the finished loom ( except the the Min-E, which is more miniscule that our branding iron).
