Our handmade trays are perfect for use as a charcuterie board, cheese/meat tray, serving tray or even a centerpiece for your dining table! Each one is handmade from high quality solid wood and sealed with a food safe sealant. Trays in this listing are BLANK but we now offer a personalized engraved version here;

SIZING:
All sizes are measured in inches and are approximate (+/-1/4" to prevent wood waste). Sizes are for the OUTSIDE of the tray. Subtract approx. 1 1/8" from each dimension for the inside dimensions of the tray. All sizes have a lip that is raised approx. 1" above the inside of the tray to prevent food spills. All sizes sit approx. 1.5" tall.

*Want a custom size? We are happy to accommodate custom sized lengths between 15 and 40". The width MUST be 8, 12 or 16". Simply order the next size up. For example if you want a 12x35 order a 12x40 and request in the notes the size be 12x35 (please note our sizes are approximate and will vary by up to 3/8" due to saw blade minus cuts).

WHITEWASH STAIN: Whitewash is just that, a wash of stain. It is NOT a paint and will NOT cover like a paint. Lightness/darkness will vary piece to piece depending on how dark the initial wood is and how much wood grain is present. No two will be identical. Wood grain WILL show through the stain. It is a subtle wash of stain. It is VERY hard to photograph due to how light reflects off the sealant so please take note of this. It is more of a rustic white, not painted.

UNSTAINED: Unstained is meant for those who wish to paint/stain their own. We do NOT seal this option as sealant will prevent paint/stain from absorbing into the wood. If you are wanting to paint/stain your own, you can also request that the holes for handles be drilled but the handles be left not attached for ease in painting/staining.

CARE AND USE: While trays are sealed with food safe sealant on the inside we do still recommend placing a barrier between any food and the tray to make cleaning easier and prevent stains. Do not submerge in water or put in the dishwasher. Clean with damp rag and gentle soap like dish soap. DO NOT SOAK it may warp wood. Wipe clean with damp rag. Let air dry completely before storing.
Bottoms and outside edges are not sealed. They are sanded multiple times throughout our process and the tray is as smooth as possible prior to shipment. While it should go without saying, some fabrics will grab the bottom of the tray even if it feels smooth as wood has texture no matter how much it's sanded smooth. We do not recommend SLIDING your tray across fabric (ex; velvet, chenille, microfiber, etc). If you wish for us to seal the bottom of the trays please contact us and we can set up a custom listing. There is an additional cost to do so and 2-3 days will be added to the lead time to add multiple coats and drying time.

SHIPPING: Is via UPS or USPS. If shipping to Alaska or Hawaii there may be additional shipping required. Please contact us prior to placing the order if shipping to one of these states. If additional shipping is required to one of these states, the order will not be started until additional shipping is paid. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE ABOUT OUR RUSTIC PIECES: Our pieces are meant to showcase natural wood characteristics like wood grain, natural knots and wood creases/slits. Our trays are made with high quality plywood and natural hardwood. Shading will vary from piece to piece. Some will be lighter and some will be darker depending on the wood grain and the stain selected. Wood grain patterns and presence of natural knots will vary from piece to piece and across pieces. Whitewash is a wash! Not a paint! Wood grain WILL show through! Natural imperfections such as knots/wood grain variance is to be expected in natural wood and may vary in where it's located. We do NOT fill small brad holes on our pieces. We can do so upon request but it will add 2-3 business days to your order processing time.

WOOD TEXTURE/SURFACE: While we do sand our pieces 3 times prior to shipping, they will never be 100% plastic smooth! It's wood, it has some texture to it! The inside rails may have some spots rougher than others (though it is sanded/sealed and sanded again) due to the presence of natural knots, rough wood burls, etc that cannot be sanded down 100% without scratching the wood/stain). We do not recommend for use on microfiber, chenille or like fabrics as even though they are sanded smooth to the touch, these fabrics can grab even the smallest microfibers in the wood. We do NOT seal the outside or the bottom. The wood is sanded and stained. The inside will be sealed with a food safe sealant and will be slightly glossy and smoother than the outside due to the sealant. If you wish for us to seal the ENTIRE piece, we can do so but it is an additional cost and will add additional time to the processing of your order (contact us for more information).

Most of the items in our shop are made from wood we, ourselves, sustainably grow, mill and finish ourselves.

All of the painted items are done so by myself, by hand, and without the aid of vinyl stickers or stencils. Each item is unique and made just for you!

Most of our items can be completely customized to your preferences including; stain color, paint color, how it's hung, and even font style.

Please understand, since each item is handmade to order, there will be some variations between samples and products received (as well as between each other). Wood items may vary piece by piece in color shading, wood grain patterns, knot placement, etc, as each piece is made from natural wood.

NOTE: if for some reason we are ahead and/or your item ships BEFORE this 24 hour period ends, we apologize, but we will NOT be able to cancel or refund your order.

Many of our items are made to order, for you, with very specific personal preferences (stain colors, font styles, paint color, etc). This means we are not able to accept returns or exchanges.

Each item is made to order from natural wood, there will be some variations between samples & product received (as well as between each other). Wood items may vary piece in color shading, wood grain patterns, knot placement, etc.

NOTE: Items returned to us without prior authorization, may result in no refund being given!

You can find the current lead time for an item by looking at the "ready to ship in" time. Please note, this is the number of BUSINESS DAYS it will be (+/- up to 3 days depending on our schedule- and WEEKENDS ARE NOT BUSINESS DAYS!) before your item ships. This does NOT include delivery time to you, which can vary by what shipping option you choose as well as your location.

If you have already placed your order, go to your profile, then click on "purchases and reviews", then click your receipt. You should be able to find your estimated shipping date there. Again, please keep in mind these are estimates and actually shipping date may vary slightly.

We accept rush orders to make, and ship, your order sooner than our normal processing time on a case-by-case basis. However, you will need to contact us PRIOR to ordering with the item you would like to order and the date you would need it by.

Rush orders require additional fees depending on how quickly your order needs to be made and shipped and what item you're ordering.

RUSH FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE from the time of purchase. While we may be able to cancel the item itself and refund either fully or partially any rush fee is NON REFUNDABLE. This is because we only allow for a certain number of "rush spots" a week. If you fill a rush slot, this is a spot we cannot give to another customer.

We only ever charge what it costs us to pack and ship an order. We do not make money on shipping. Unfortunately for this reason we do not offer discounted shipping or coupons towards shipping.

However, if you're ordering multiple items and the total seems high, please contact us and we can check that for you before purchasing.

If you would like a quote for shipping multiple items prior to purchasing let us know what you want to order (any necessary sizes) and the full shipping address and we'll send an estimated shipping cost. Shipping refunds occur once the item is packed and weighed to ensure shipping costs are covered.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, WITH pictures of the damage AND packaging. Photos MUST be received within 72 HOURS of contacting us about the damaged item. We need BOTH photos of the item AND the packaging to replace an item. We CANNOT issue a refund/replacement without proof of the damage.

LOST/MISSING PACKAGES:
If your order is marked as "delivered" and is not there please check around your home, with neighbors and your local carrier. Unfortunately, if a package is marked as "delivered" there is little we can do. We do expect our customers to provide a safe and secure receiving location for their order and we are not responsible for stolen packages.

This RARELY happens, but mistakes can happen. If we made a mistake, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

-----If you believe you received an incorrect order----
FIRST, check your packing slip to double check options ordered and the item received doesn't match your receipt. If it doesn't, please send us a picture of the item you received and we will be happy to look into the issue and send out the correct item ASAP. IT IS AT OUR DISCRETION whether a replacement vs. refund will be sent. The item may have to be returned before proceeding.

If you believe you are missing a piece (esp. if it's small) please check the packing materials in the package. 100% of the time we've received emails that an item is missing, it was overlooked.

Items returned to us (contact us prior to returning-see "RETURNS" above) that offer "FREE SHIPPING" are subject to a "restocking fee" of up to 50% of the item cost.

Items returned to sender/undeliverable/etc that are sent back by the post office (when NOT due to an error on our part- ex; shipped to address customer provides and it's undeliverable) with FREE SHIPPING will require the customer to PAY FOR SHIPPING COSTS to re-ship the item (as we already paid for shipping once) or it is also subject to a 50% restocking fee.

PERSONALIZED AND CUSTOM ORDERS CANNOT BE REFUNDED/RETURNED unless a mistake has been made on our end. If an item receives damage in shipping we REQUIRE photos of packing and item before we can replace/refund.

Unfortunately, as everything is made to order for each customer we cannot accept returns/exchanges or free date/item changes.

It is at the discretion of the customer to choose what is to be painted on the order. We will do the items as ordered but cannot offer discounts if something later changes for your event.

In the event you would like to send an item back to us to change a detail about the order (Ex; date or if it was provided to us spelled incorrectly). Clients are responsible for any shipping costs to send it back to us and to return it to you. We do also charge a fee to remove and redo any personalization that is different from what was provided to us on your order as it does take time and materials to do so.
