Looks like bottle cap openers will soon go the way of Walkman and Beta video!

This promotional bottle opener stamped Krueger Cream Ale Finest Beer is a true artifact of American consumer culture. Better put a label on this antique or future generations, who no doubt will be taking fluids intravenously through implanted spigots, may have no idea what this nifty little device was used for.

The Gottfried Krueger Brewing Company was founded in 1858 in Newark NJ and was absorbed by other breweries and went out of business in 1961. It was the first brewery to introduce beer in cans in 1935.

Bottle cap opener in good vintage condition with nice stainless steel patina despite occasional rust spot. After easily popping tens of thousands of caps in its hey day let's give the classic tool well-deserved retirement in a home bar or Man Cave decor !
