Please note that every ear and piercing is different. Fit depends on genetics (size and shape of ear lobe) and not age. Some people have tiny earlobes, some have larger thicker earlobes. It is recommended that you measure your ears with a millimeter ruler to know which size is best for you.

Please look through all the photo's to get an idea of how small these earrings are. The photo's were taken with a macro setting.
These hoops are tiny and delicate. Because of their tiny size, they can be a little tricky to get in your ears. It is best to put them in when you aren't rushed and have time and patience to work with them. But once they are in your piercings, they stay put 24/7!


❁What gauge/thickness do I choose?❁
The most common ear piercing is 1.2mm gauge (needle piercing). If you were pierced with a gun it's likely your piercing is 0.8mm.
If you purchase a gauge that is thinner than your current piercing, expect your piercing to resize/shrink over time.
We do not recommend purchasing a gauge that is thicker than your current piercing as you may struggle to insert it and could cause pain.

We choose to work with 14k gold-filled because it allows us to offer top-of-the-line quality at an affordable price. The thick outer layer of gold makes it highly durable and safe for people with allergies or sensitive skin.

“Gold-filled” is a USA industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight. It’s a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass resulting in a durable, quality real gold product.

14/20 GF or 14k GF mark may be present on gold-filled pieces. Often, handmade gold-filled pieces from smaller companies won't be marked, however. For example, we don’t mark our rings and some of our other pieces, but we do have a mark on our chains (at the clasp).

What's the difference between gold-filled and gold plated?
There’s a lot more gold in gold-filled and the gold is attached in a way that’s much more durable. Also, the standards for 14k gold-fill are strictly regulated, while the standards for "gold plated" encompass a broad range of thicknesses, so you can't be sure how much gold is in the plated layer.

❃ Does gold-filled tarnish? ❃
14k GF materials are not supposed to tarnish for a long time. It's possible for gold-fill to tarnish under certain circumstances, but it should not tarnish easily.
