Description

A PDF knitting pattern for a daffodil flower. It is quick to knit and uses small amounts of yarn.
The stems can be supported with wire so the flowers will stand in a vase. They also make a very nice brooch or lapel pin. You can knit just the flower heads and add them to spring wreaths, Easter gift cards or napkin rings.
The daffodil is knit flat on two needles.

Instructions are in English only.

SIZE: The flower head is about the same size as an actual daffodil. Knit in DK yarn the daffodil is 7" (18cm) tall

SKILLS REQUIRED: You need to be able to knit, purl, increase and decrease, The stem is made by knitting an i-cord. There is a full photo tutorial on how to do this included in the pattern.

YARN: for one flower you will need:
15 yards (8.5 metres) double knitting / light worsted weight yarn in yellow for flower
3 yards (6.5 metres) double knitting / light worsted weight yarn in green for stalk

NEEDLES: Pair of 3.25mm (US size 3) straight needles
3.25mm (US size 3) double pointed pins for stalk

The pattern contains clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you. It is a 6 page, full colour PDF pattern.

Absolutely! If you wish to sell a small number of items that you make yourself then please just credit me as the designer. However you cannot sell on or reproduce the pattern itself.

My patterns are clearly written with row numbers and plenty of stage by stage photos wherever I think they are necessary. If you have a problem please either convo me or email me and I will try my best to help you.

ARE YOUR PATTERNS AVAILABLE IN OTHER LANGUAGES?
I'm sorry, at this moment in time they are only available in English.

I DONT LIKE KNITTING IN THE ROUND. ARE YOUR PATTERNS KNITTED FLAT?
Most of my patterns are knitted flat. Those that have knitting in the round instructions also have knit flat instructions included too.
