Mia Sombrilla provides brightly-colored water-resistant parasols for sunny or rainy days, perfect for adding color to weddings, parties, Renaissance Fairs, gardens, or just personal protection from the elements. When I moved to the Southwest, I quickly learned that shade was valuable. I wanted something that I could carry for shade for both coolness and sun protection, light and not as imposing as a umbrella. Parasols are the perfect solution.

The basic cotton canvas parasols with bamboo handle and lock mechanism are handmade by artisans in Thailand, then hand painted, waterproofed, and finished at Mia Sombrilla. The parasols have a 28" diameter canopy with 28" long pole. The parasols also have a lovely rope handle for holding or hanging and also have a braided hemp bracelet to keep it tightly closed. All our parasols are sturdy and waterproofed.

Multiple parasols packs of 2 or more are available in mixed colors of your choice and can ship together in the same box saving $$ on shipping cost. Please contact me first for larger bulk orders to make a special listing using your zip code.

Shipping within USA. USPS Priority Mail 1-3 day shipping. For ordering more than 4 parasols, please contact me first to set up a special listing. We accept returns at any time, but do not provide postage or return postage due to the expense of postage and our low prices. If an item arrives damaged please contact us and the post office right away.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Our shop is in Tubac, AZ and before shipping, the parasols are washed and allowed to air dry. This helps to 'loosen' and re-stretch the cotton awning. A mild soap and water can be used to wash as needed. Open the parasol all the way and lock. Lightly wet using a sponge or spray, and rinse with clear water, avoid soaking the top bonnet area. Leave the parasol locked open to air dry.

This is a gorgeous parasol! The size is nice. The diameter is big enough to cast a nice shadow and keep the sun off, but it isnt so big that it will bump into everything, and people can walk next to you. Love it!

Really impressed with this parasol! I wanted something practical and simple, not too frilly. This parasol feels very sturdy and well made. It's a good size where it's not so wide, so ideal for walking around a farmers market, etc. I went with the off-white color. Provides plenty of shade. Highly recommend.

When I opened the parasol for the 1st time my heart did a little leap. Its so nice. Perfect smaller, easy to handle sun parasol, sized just right to keep the sun off a person. The umbrella part fits nicely into a satchel with the handle sticking out. I made a cover protector for mine with a strap to sling over my shoulder. Arrived lighting fast too. It has a slight "new car smell" that went away after 24 hours left open on our screened porch--nothing over powering though. Very happy.
