The small town of Bessemer, Michigan is known for its annual Fourth of July festivities. At the Bessemer city-wide yard sales this spring, I found this set of 18 red white and blue "milk glass" mugs. The previous owner had used them at her Independence Day parties. Aren't the histories that go with stuff as great as the items themselves?! I think these would be just right to serve frosty root beer or beer as well as coffee.

The photo makes it look like the rims are uneven. That must be shadows as these 18 mugs are all intact and chip-free. The only problem I see is some of the red ones have what looks like hard water film on the outside making them a more subdued red.

The biggest issue with these are they are so heavy, hence the high cost on shipping. I will refund shipping overcharge where indicated.

It is not too early to start planning for your next year's 4th of July party!

Each mug is 5.5" tall and 3" diameter.
