Mahogany Jasper Ring, hand made, textured, spirals, sterling silver
Description
The stone in this hand made ring is a mahogany jasper, showing mottled shades of browns and orange/rust. The ring is sterling silver, with the stone set on a background of textured spirals. The sterling silver border is hammer textured, with a double ring shank. What appear as scratches in the photos are actually small natural imperfections in the surface of the stone itself, and these don't look like scratches on the stone in person.
The ring fits a size 7 (US). The top of the ring is about 7/8" (22mm) in diameter, and the stone is about 15mm across (just over 1/2").

Not sure how I lucked upon this shop/ artisan but it doesn’t matter— I did, and I will be forever grateful! What a gracious and helpful person Lisa is— willing to listen to my design challenges and sort through my poor use ( or misuse) of terminology to somehow understand exactly what I was in search of and then make it for me!! The box will be secured with an elastic band to keep it secure, and will be shipped in a padded envelope. Every effort is made to be sure your items are packed safely and securely. If not required by customs, the word "jewelry" will not appear on your package.
