Description

These solid wood, heirloom-quality frames are hand sanded with a lacquered finish. Unlike some of my competitors, I don't use thin veneers, cleats or nails. The wooden joinery is done without metal fasteners for a strong and beautiful solid koa frame.

Standard sizes run between 5x7" to 24x36", although any size can be made by special order.

Our standard stock is 3/4" thick and 1-3/8" wide, available in curly figured grain for a premium. We also carry 2" wide stock for larger frames or a more robust look. Deeper rabbeted frames are also available in 1"+ thickness as custom orders.

Frames come with white bevel-cut mat and acrylic plexiglass pane included.

We've tried shipping glass from Hawaii in the past, and lots of customers received boxes with broken glass. Plexiglass is more expensive, but it holds up to shipping. If you desire glass for your frame, we're happy to work with you to find someone in your area who can provide it.
