These clouds have a cotton candy to feel to them that I couldn’t resist. I am enjoying painting with thicker, more impasto style paint in some areas. I like the expressive brushwork it captures.
This work is painted on Arches Oil Paper which is made to be archival for oil paints. It’s 7x7 inches with a thin white border and will be varnished with Gamblin Varnish before I send it.
