This is an 11x17in. "placemat"- style worksheet that I created in order to help folks connect with what they may be feeling in their body and how that relates to what they may be needing to experience a greater sense of emotional regulation.
The worksheet guides you through six different categories of emotions and offers some examples of how those emotions may manifest as sensations in the body and some suggestions for what your body may be needing in order to experience more regulation. The goal of this worksheet is to provide you with some structure for identifying sensations in your body and attaching those sensations to needs and actionable behavior changes to address those needs.
This worksheet may be helpful for:
- Anyone feeling anxious, depressed, or having a difficult emotional experience
- Anyone looking to get more in touch with their body and emotional self
- Therapists & mental health providers to use with clients
- Teachers & parents to use with children (or themselves)
- Partners, family members and other loved ones to use with each other

5 out of 5 starsShipping was oddly delayed but likely out of the seller’s control. I reached out and she was incredibly responsive and we lucked out my item came in later that day! With that said, the body chart is wonderful and helps explain what I’ve had a hard time with identifying. I’m thinking about getting the digital one too because I’m sure I’ll use it often and knowing me, my physical copy might get lost or walk away when someone else sees how useful it is!

Love love love this! I use this in my work as a psychotherapist for children and adults (and with myself!)- it supports the sometimes very challenging but important work of listening to our bodies and understanding and practicing giving them what they need.
