This hooded tringle warm and cozy shawl is perfect for fall, rainy days and chilly evenings, but irreplaceable during those snowy, winter days to put over your shoulders while sitting in your favorite crochet chair, or on your way out.

The pattern is written using US crochet terminology.
The Pattern was fully tested and tech edited.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. The texture of the shawl is achieved mainly through front and back post stitches.
YARN: #4 medium worsted yarn (Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed used here)
HOOK: 6 mm US J-10
GAUGE: 12 sts x 8 rows in dc = 10 cm (4”) square
CONSTRUCTION: The shawl is worked in one piece and without any seaming, unless you opt for a hooded version (in which case the hood is seamed on top of the shawl).
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 193 cm (76”) wide and 90cm (35.4”) long (from the top, long edge to the tip) without the hood.
