These boxes are extremely versatile with many uses. Each box is the same size, making them stackable horizontally or vertically as seen in last images.
They originate from apricot orchards. Each box is unique and has a story behind it!
Some crates have the farm name stenciled on the front face and sides. The finger notch and top cleat makes them easy to carry.
These beauties were used until the 90's when orchards were made the switch to plastic boxes. Most wooden boxes were burned or destroyed but these boxes are survivors, stored inside a barn since their retirement.
We sell used crates, we do not sell brand new crates. Please do not expect a perfect crate. Let the photos be your guide.
You will not receive exact crate shown in this photo listing. As shown in (image #4) we have thousands of crates in stock and not every box is the same as far as patina, stenciling and wear & tear.
Most are Zoria Farms but some brands/stencils read Tillie Lewis or nothing at all due to wear & tear.
All boxes show wear & tear such as but not limited to : fading, stains, and dust.
You will also find small split, chipped, and cracked wood along with some markings from age and use.
This is to be expected as they are original, old and barn fresh!
Having mentioned the above condition information, each crate may need a good wash depending how you plan on repurposing it.
