When I bought these rolls, I thought they were all black. Today I opened one of the boxes, so I could fill an order for the black microfilm and found some blue rolls. YippeeAiAye.
I love, love, love this stuff! When I found these gems, it was the first time I had ever seen microfiche in a film roll format. It's usually in small rectangles ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/175955678/). These are images of newspapers, such as The Globe and Mail and The New York Times.
You can use these everywhere! Because of their see-through nature I really like adding them to altered books and visual journals. Cut a rectangle through two pages, then place the microfiche between them so it's showing through the holes. Now, glue the two pages together. Makes a little window. Very cool.
Wonderful to use, as well, on Artist Trading Cards and in mixed media pieces. Or, how about cutting slits in an altered book page, then weaving a strip through them? Great as borders, too. Soooooo many uses.

=========================
PLEASE BE AWARE:
Etsy has now begun to charge sellers when a customer finds their shop via another site or search engine (Google, Bing, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.). We are forced to pay them 15% of the total order (including taxes and shipping!) on top of all the other fees. As well, if you submit another order over the following 30 days, it, too, will garner this fee. It would be greatly appreciated if, when you come across an ad or listing via any site other than Etsy itself, you do not click on it. Instead, if you would simply cut-and-paste the title into the Etsy search bar, or just do a search yourself at Etsy .com to find the item, you would be doing all the small businesses on Etsy a great favour. Thank you so much.
Why not add RubyDog's to your list of Favourites? That way you can find us, again. After all, It's so easy to get lost on Etsy, isn't it?
