These Rings are handmade to order - Heirloom Quality Tarnish Resistant Sterling Silver Bands.

Each ring is made with high-quality American Sterling Silver and is suitable for daily wear. I mill these bands out of a solid piece of extruded silver, so they have no solder seams, and the metal is much harder than a cast or bench-worked piece will be. This ring is inspired by a 1731 Mourning Ring, see the 7th Photo. Made in 18k gold with black enamel these Momento Mori rings were popular in the 18th and early 19th centuries. They remind us of a loss, or that we are all mortal. The hourglass sand is running out on us all.
