This stunning barrel table has been crafted using a standard American oak whisky barrel as the base and the lid/head of a sherry butt barrel as the table top.

The barrel has been sanded back through years of aged oak to reveal the clean, fresh, natural colouring of the American, white oak underneath. The metal bands have been secured to the barrel with hex screws and finished in a black, hard wearing, metal paint, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The barrel lid/head table top has been strengthened with glue between each slat, sanded for a lovely, smooth to the touch feel, with a flat top and then oiled. The table top is secured to the barrel from the underneath, so no screw or drill holes are visible on the top.
