Properly Aged - Antique Philosophy Book -1850 - Home Decor - Library

Add a properly aged book to your library collection or home decor.

This second edition, hardcover book was published in 1850.
It has a olive green bookcloth cover embossed with an ornate decorative pattern on both front, back and spine.

Title: A Discourse of the Baconian Philosophy
by Samuel Tyler of the Maryland Bar

Second edition, enlarged. Published by Baker and Scribner, New York 1850

This is a true antique. It shows wear and tear from age and previous use. The edges are a bit worn. There is some tearing at both the top and bottom of the spine. Rest of the book is holding together nicely. Endpapers still firmly attached. Pages have aged beautifully (in my eyes) they have darkened at the edges and some have a darkened spotting all over. This is being sold as a home decor item. As you can see in the photos, this is all very dark, please contact me with any questions.

Approx size: 5" x 7 1/2"
