Vannes-le-Chatel chocolate bowl

Vannes Le Chatel has been producing fine Art Glass since 1765. This chocolate bowl is part of an iconic collection that has been defined as swirling or wavy. It is one of the most beautiful pieces we came across.

Not your usual crystal vase, this beautiful object crosses the boundaries between art glass, sculpture, vase and bowl. The two wings form a basket-like shape that never meets in the middle and resembles a wave plon. The flowing curves combined with the drastic plasticity of the shape make this a unique piece that will add a powerful yet light touch to a variety of environments.

Most likely from the mid-70s, it still carries a Deco presence while embracing the mid-century feel. In perfect condition without chips and a very clean bottom.
