A gorgeous hand woven and hand stitched vintage blanket from Europe! This dates to the 1930s and is a wonderful hand woven linen and it is a complex weave, sort of a bullseye shape- very heavy and warm. It is smooth to the touch. This is a densely woven very heavy textile- it weights around four pounds! The colors are just so stunning- the blanket's ground is a warm natural tone, with bright red and black stripes showcasing the intricate weave! There are two hand stitched seams down this textile which would look so lovely showcased on an upholstery project! I can't help but think how wonderful this sheet would look as a holiday throw or tablecloth! This textile is excellent quality and has lots of life left! Would be perfect to use as a throw, for bedding, tablecloths, shower curtains, or anything else you could think of!

Length: 97 inches

CONDITION: This textile is freshly laundered and ready for use! There are a few stains and age marks on this blanket and a few areas where the woven threads are beginning to pull, but otherwise this is in great condition! This textile is in wonderful condition for its age and use, however it is not without signs of time and use, inherent in antique textiles.
