Always turn its face to the Sun no matter what.

It's the Sunflower, one of the most gorgeous summer blooms of all, and also one that comes with the most beautiful meanings and messages.

A few qualities that a Sunflower is associated with are Positivity, Cheerfulness, Honestly, Longevity, and Peace. But the most prominent meaning of a Sunflower is probably Positivity and Optimism. With its big round smiley face facing toward the Sun, a vibrantly yellow Sunflower is always joyful and happy. In this beautiful flower, Mother Nature has a lesson for us, to always look on the bright side of everything and find reasons to give thanks for, and we would be amazed by the magic of life, all the serendipity that would come beyond our imagination and how lightly, cheerfully we could choose to live our life, meaningful and beautiful, just like what a little Sunflower does.

Motivated to create so that I could capture and preserve the cheerful moments of the season, I take gorgeous flowers and turn them into ceiling lights that are made from eco-friendly materials like wood. Here I come with the "Seeds of the Sun" ceiling light series.

It's a fun mixture of nature's designs and the human hands; the end results are the sustainable, durable, and imperishable flowers that are vivid, full of life, colorful and glowing when they are illuminated at night. The colors, the light effects, the astonishing light patterns projected on the ceiling would fill your space with the frequencies of relaxation, lightness, easiness and contentment. The wooden flowers are blooming gracefully in oceans of light and darkness and they are here to tell you a story, be hopeful, be positive and the sun will shine on us again. So keep your chin up and be chill!

Embrace your endless love for Mother Nature and being out in nature with our delightful flower ceiling lights that will transform your living space and get you immersed in the wonderment of designs inspired by Mother Nature's perfect creations.

No.5 in my "Seeds of the Sun" lights is the Sunflower light.

The Sunflower light is meticulously designed in a way when the light fixture is illuminated at night, it would look so vividly alive and real with layers of lights and colors showing through differently among the layers from the bottom to the top.

On the vertical scale, it has 4 layers of petals. Between these layers, depending on where each layer locates, it receives different levels of lights from the light source (light bulb), which then decides how dark or light each layer would appear. The top 3 layers of the light show a bright light orange blended together between the layers, and the bottom largest layer is the darkest, which gives the Sunflower light fixture a high contrast between lights and darkness. The material that the Sunflower light is made from, Natural wood, stained in orange and with wood grain, is what gives the layers bright shining lights when it is illuminated at night.

The design of the Sunflower light was done with careful planning so that it creates fascinating light patterns and pleasing light effects for your living space.

So yes, if you are wondering why there seems to be multiple colors as in the pictures, it is because of the design of the light. The whole Sunflower wooden light fixture is stained in orange (The staining will also protect the wood for long time use and create a durable, beautiful finish). During day time, you would see it is the same color throughout the fixture. And when illuminated at night, this orange Sunflower light is alive and transforms your living space into an atmosphere that is exquisitely charming and relaxing.

Made from natural, eco-friendly, safe material, Natural wood. If you are into real wood and not any laminate-like materials, rest assured with the materials we use to make this lamp. The pieces are cut from 3mm high quality Natural Wood, polyurethane applied, and stained in orange. You can rest assured the orange Sunflower light is sturdy, durable and made to last a long time.
