Sweet Violet! The voice of meadowlark, the scent of Baby's Breath perpetually wafting about her. Just don't play cards with her...she'll take you for all you're worth without even flinching.

*X-MAS SHOPPERS: Please see my shop announcement for x-mas shipping info regarding this item.

-Violet's head\/ breastplate, hands, feet are hand-sculpted from paperclay over a foil armature without the use of molds; she is truly one-of-a-kind. The sculpting process involves several layers of paper-clay (an air-dry clay) which must be dried and sanded between each layer. Her eyes are glass; her wig is made from hand-dyed wool roving.
-Her paperclay surfaces are finished with acrylic paints, pencil, archival pens and acrylic varnish.
-Her body is polyfil and cloth over a wire armature; she is fully poseable.

-Violet's outfit is cotton eyelet; her collar and sleeves are trimmed with cotton lace.
-Her skirt is gathered in the back to create a faux bustle (see side view.)
-All visible stitching (except for her skirt gathers) is done by hand.

SIZE: Violet stands 19" (48 cm) tall.
