Barad-dûr was built by Sauron in the land of Mordor, not far from the volcano known as Mount Doom. The construction of the tower began around the SA 1000, and took six hundred years to complete. It was the greatest fortress built since the fall of Angband during the War of Wrath.

Far off the shadows of Sauron hung; but torn by some gust of wind out of the world, or else moved by some great disquiet within, the mantling clouds swirled, and for a moment drew aside; and then he saw, rising black, blacker and darker than the vast shades amid which it stood, the cruel pinnacles and iron crown of the topmost tower of Barad-dûr. One moment only it stared out, but as from some great window immeasurably high there stabbed northward a flame of red, the flicker of a piercing Eye; and then the shadows were furled again and the terrible vision was removed.

It was a day late, but I suppose that's not a horrible offense. However, the circuitry on the bottom looks a little sketchy and loose. They should've added some kind of felt or plastic cover for the bottom, perhaps with a slot or compartment for when the batteries need to change. They also should've added a - and + symbol or something to show which direction the batteries should go in. Other than that, it's a decent model and the lights are good. I'd recommend trying to get it at a discount rather than paying full price, but if you need it immediately then paying full price isn't the most regretful decision in the world.

The service was good, the item was slightly delayed but the seller sorted that out very quickly and was very communicative. Unfortunately the item itself was of low quality, the lighting was just three LED lights at the base of the tower and the eye did not light up at all, also the tower itself was in 2 pieces and wobbly when put together. It looked quite cheap and plastic-y as well.
