Colorful Abstract Oven Mitt, Kitchen Homeware, Gift Under 30

This abstract oven mitt features many vibrant colors in a bold modern array. The high quality cotton fabric is from the Palette collection designed by Marcia Derse for Windham Fabrics. The color intersections are made to look like a painter's brushstroke stopped at that edge. In another place, the fabric has what appears to be little drips of paint spilling over a green to blue border line in the print. (See listing photos 5 and 6). Print placement will vary, as indicated in the listing photos. The lining, binding and hanging loop fabric is a dark emerald green cotton solid.

The rich colors would add a pop of color to any modern kitchen. This oven glove is too colorful to relegate to a kitchen cabinet drawer. This kitchen homeware is a great accent for a modern, industrial, or Scandi kitchen. It would also be a perfect hostess gift, shower gift, housewarming gift, or Christmas gift for your favorite foodie.

The oven mitt measures approximately 12" x 6" --- extra-long for reaching WAY back into the oven without risking a wrist burn. This oven glove is NOT a snug fit.
The quilting lines on the diagonal make for an easy bend when grabbing a hot baking pan.

Sandwiched between the front and lining fabrics of these potholders are three layers of batting; InsulBright heat-resistant batting, Warm & Natural cotton batting, and preshrunk white cotton flannel. The lining layers are machine quilted to the top by me on my sewing machine in a diagonal pattern to facilitate an easier bend when reaching into the oven for a hot item. InsulBright is heat-resistant, but not heat proof.
