WHAT YOU WILL GET:
Roughly 30 individual Seed Pods or a many as I can fit in a 3" x 5" bag.
Each piece averages between 1-2 inches.
As you can see in the pictures each piece is a whole individual Seed Pod that merely separated from the cluster it grew on. My trees are now covered with and shedding a fresh batch of seed clusters and there are some real beauties!!
Each Cluster is made up of several intertwined single pods as shown in the Pods & Pieces picture. I also have small clusters for sale on another listing. (This is actually a much better deal.) The necklace is an example of what was inspired by a single Seed Pod, a beautiful piece made by Shade Metals. The beautiful Wedding Cake was a customer who ordered Grapevine for the cake and I added some Seed Pods for a thank you and they became the focal point!!
These Seed Pods are fun & very easy to work with endless uses. They are easy to attach to each other or anything, whether you paint, glue, tie or hang them, they are fun to work with. Mother Nature outdid herself, creating such an amazing Seed Pod to protect the seeds of Australian Earleaf Acacia Tree, enabling it to be a very invasive tree. The seeds look like little black & yellow eyes and the fallen leaves , which look like a smile, camouflage the pods .
For 25 years my Chemical & Pesticide Free woods have had several Acacias invading & multiplying, which used to bother me, but instead, I have come to appreciate them for their uniqueness. (They have also become my best seller!)
