High Quality Rhinestone Bracelet Glass Pearls Champagne Stones The Look Of Real
ITEM: An exceptionally well crafted piece of costume jewelry with “the look of real”, this gorgeous bracelet features high quality make and materials with great attention to detail. The glass or costume pearls are incredibly lustrous with a depth of tone that approaches the genuine article. The rhinestones are paste set within the metal housings or mounts, a champagne tone set into silver tone metals in an art deco style of design. The mix of silver and gold tones really captures the eye and adds so much to the overall look of the piece, I can’t think why they don’t do it more often! I do believe the metals have a rhodium plate as well. The manner in which this fab bracelet is put together creates an articulated aspect that really feels solid and helps to create that look of real. This sinuous, sensuous bracelet doesn’t end there though! It finishes with a glorious, bejeweled clasp, a hidden box clasp, covered with pave set stones and featuring a larger, emerald cut stone set center stage. The sort of cross hatch design of that clasp continues the overall look of the art deco style of design and finishes the bracelet with a sense of balance perfectly in tune with the piece as a whole. One of my favorite features on this bracelet is the net result of a really well designed piece; the manner in which those pearls are set creates a level of comfort in wear that’s hard to beat. The front side of the bracelet has those pearls set flush to the rhinestone set metals in such a way that the back side has only the pearls touching skin. What this means is that as you move about, flexing and reaching, there’s no pinching from the articulation created by the stone set metal melee edges contracting and expanding. It’s those little touches, the result of thoughtful design, that can really elevate a piece and push it towards those top tiers of design and functionality. Let’s face it; if you have two fancy bracelets to choose from and one is incredibly comfortable to wear - well I know which I’d choose to wear! This bracelet is one of those. Incredibly well made, comfortable to wear and impressive in looks - to such a degree that it may well fool the eye and confuse it for its fine jewelry cousin! Just a superb piece of costume jewelry. An unsigned beauty too! I was really surprised about that fact. I had definitely thought it was a high end designer signed piece because it absolutely screams quality. It really reminds me of early Monet pieces. But of course I have no way to date it and no marks to research. It’s definitely a vintage piece. Beyond that? Your guess is as good as mine! Well made, good quality components, a gorgeous look, heft, sparkle, luster and feel. This is just a great piece of bling that remains as stylishly wearable today as it ever was.
SIZE: This gorgeous bracelet measures 7” long and is 3/4” wide. A box clasp closure means it’s really not an adjustable sizing, so measure twice!
CONDITION: In good to very good vintage condition showing minimal wear apparent. I saw no loose or missing stones and no signs of replacement or repair. The costume pearls are in very good surface. I saw no flaking or peeling, no pitting or obvious bald spots. They’re very richly coated and lustrous. They just don’t make them like these anymore. I suspect that they are glass pearls due to their heft and the quality of the nacreous looking coat. The mixed metals alloys look to have a rhodium plate. It’s a very rich, lustrous plating. Silver tone. An optical illusion from those champagne colored rhinestones makes it look line a mix of gold and silver tones but I think its all visual really. A reflection. The result is very cool though! Adds depth and dimension to the design. The metals are in good surface with no loss of tone, no plate loss and no rust or verdigris noted. The clasp is intact and functional. No makers marks noted. I always recommend using your zoom feature to view all photos and decide whether or not the condition meets your own standards as our ratings may differ. Cheers!
