Important Note: This is a thin cotton rug handwoven on loom with cotton threads with a pile height of approx 0.25 to 0.3 inches , It is as soft as cotton. It is then printed with wooden blocks using vegetable colors. Any spills are to be cleaned with hand wash with cold water and mild detergent and PLEASE do not rub otherwise colors will fade away.

If you have any doubts please ask before ordering since we make each rug as we receive order and once dispatched to overseas destination nothing can be done. Shipping alone takes 60% of the order value which is very expensive.

Color Variation & Appearance Policy (Important)
All rugs are 100% handmade and handwoven using natural fibers. Slight variations in color, texture, and weave are normal and expected, and are not considered defects.

Due to the use of natural dyes and fibers, colors may vary slightly from batch to batch and from rug to rug.

Screen and device settings (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, monitors) can display colors differently depending on brightness, contrast, resolution, and color calibration.

Lighting conditions greatly affect appearance. Rugs may look different in:

Natural daylight

Warm or cool indoor lighting

Shadows or angled light

Pile direction, rug placement, and viewing angle can cause the same rug to appear lighter or darker when viewed from different sides or distances.

Close-up photos may show texture and detail differently than how the rug appears when laid flat in a room.

Product photos are taken to represent the rug as accurately as possible, but minor color variations should be expected and do not qualify as misrepresentation.

Color variation, shade difference, or appearance changes due to the above reasons are not valid grounds for return, refund, or replacement.

Shipping, Delivery, & Customs Policy (Please Read Carefully)
All orders are shipped only to the address provided by the buyer at checkout. Buyers are solely responsible for ensuring that the delivery address, phone number, and email address are accurate and complete.

A valid phone number and email address are mandatory for shipping. These details are required by courier companies for delivery coordination, customs clearance, and investigations. Failure to provide accurate contact details may result in delivery issues for which the seller is not responsible.

Once an order is marked as “Delivered” by the shipping carrier, the delivery is considered successfully completed and fulfilled. No Exceptions.

If the carrier confirms delivery to the provided address — including delivery to a reception, front desk, security, mailroom, concierge, neighboring unit, or shared building area — the order will be treated as complete, and no refund or replacement will be issued.

Claims of “not received” after carrier delivery confirmation are not eligible for refunds. In such cases, the buyer must:

Initiate a formal non-receipt or misdelivery report with the carrier

Customs, Duties, Taxes & Import Charges (International Orders)
All customs duties, tariffs, VAT, GST, import taxes, and destination-country charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the listing.

Couriers may contact the buyer directly using the provided phone number and email for duty payment or clearance requirements. Failure to respond or pay required charges may result in delays, return, or destruction of the shipment.

If a buyer refuses to pay customs duties, taxes, or import charges, the courier may:

Return the parcel (if permitted), or

Destroy or abandon the shipment, as per courier and customs regulations

Return & Refund Policy:

Natural color bleeding, slight fading, variations in print or color, minor imperfections, or creases are not considered defects.

These characteristics do not qualify for returns, exchanges, or refund requests.

We request customers to appreciate the artistry and traditional craftsmanship behind each piece before making a purchase.

In all return cases consignee is responsible for cost associated with returning the product including customs, tariffs and shipping fees.

Refund Policy Conditions
1. Refunds for Non-Defective Rugs:
If the rug has no defect or issue, ( All defects or issues related to rug must be notified to us with in 24 hours of delivery with clear visual photos and videos and must be verified and confirmed by seller, any defects caused during shipping is not considered as manufacturing defect ) and the return is initiated for personal reasons (such as change of mind, color preference, or size concerns), the following deductions will apply from the refund amount:

10% destination duty or actual duty charges,

50% tariff charges or actual tariffs, and

Actual shipping, handling, and taxes incurred on the order.

Since the product was correctly delivered and without fault on our part, the customer will be responsible for the above charges, including all fees imposed by the destination country and the original shipping fees.

2. Refunds for Defective Rugs:
If the rug is found to have a manufacturing defect or damage, we will issue a refund after inspection. In such cases:

Destination 10% duty and 50% tariff charges ( or actual duty and tariffs) will still be deductible,

However, we will cover the shipping and handling costs associated with the return.

Important:

Once we receive the productback and tracking confirms delivery, we will process your refund promptly as per etsy item return policy after deduction of original shipping fees and taxes and duties.



We are a small artisan-based seller and do not have import tax IDs or formal import registrations. Because of this, we are unable to provide import-related documentation for returns. The shipment would need to be arranged as a simple return of already sold merchandise, handled end-to-end with door-to-door delivery, without requiring additional documentation—just like how we successfully delivered the rug to you. If it doesn't get delivered to address provided, it will be huge loss for you.


we kindly request that the return shipment must have online tracking, and it should clearly show delivered status along with Proof of Delivery (POD). This is very important for us to be able to process your refund smoothly. As per etsy return policy returned rug must be delivered back to us within 14 days of delivery.
