All artwork is created by me and printed using high quality premium fine art paper.

My original illustration of this Common Chaffinch was hand drawn and painted by myself as part of my wildlife British Bird series.

I am lucky enough to live in the British Isles where there is a stunning array of diverse nature and wildlife to ignite creativity.
My British Bird series was inspired by vintage natural history studies, beautiful and timeless collections of victorian illustrations and the evocative designs of textile artist William Morris (1834 - 1896). In this particular illustration I have featured a take on William Morris Sunflower design as a back drop.

All of my illustrations start off as pencil sketches, mature into detailed black ink drawings and come to life with watercolour paint. Every shade of colour in the individual paintings were built up using several different watercolour hues.

A4 (297mm x 210mm)



Good to know

- Prints will be dispatched within 1-4 business days (Unless I'm away, which will be clearly detailed in my shop announcements)

- Shipping in the UK will be Royal Mail Second Class (2 - 3 days after dispatch) Postage Upgrade available at an extra cost.

- 6-10 days Royal Mail international standard for countries outside the UK (non-tracked) Optional upgrades at checkout for tracked with quicker delivery available.

- All prints are signed by me and come unmounted and unframed.
