How to select the post mount:
3.5"x3.5" is for the standard 4x4 treated wood post.
2"threaded pipe mount is for the 2" pipe pole
5.5" x5.5" is for the 6x6 treated wood post.
Actual 4"x4" is for the 4x4 vinyl case for the 4x4 treated wood post.

NOTE 1: Our posts are custom-made to fit all post mount on our birdhouses and bird feeders!

NOTE 2: HOW TALL DO I WANT THE POST TO BE?

IMPORTANT: Purple martin experts say that you will need at least 10 ' to 12' tall post above the ground in an open space.

- If using it for any other birds, then you will need at least a 6' post if you are not using the planter.
- If using a planter, you will need a any size post will work.
