Can I purchase insurance for my package?

There is no need. All orders no matter the value are insured and any damages or loss will be handled by us. All we require is a little assistance in assessing and documenting the damage.

What do we do for the environment

We love recycling and we like to make recycling easy for everyone. We recycle boxes when we can, but since we ship more than we receive, we buy boxes made from recycled material that you can use to ship, store, gift or recycle. Our gift boxes are made from cardboard and we line them with tissue paper. We use as little plastic as we possibly can and what we use is chosen with care. To pack large, fragile or heavy items we use packing chips made from recycled polystyrene that contain 99,6% air and bubble wrap and shipping bags made from LD-polyethylene that can be recycled.

Depending on local regulations in your location Etsy may be collecting VAT or Sales Tax on behalf of your government. This is a process we have no control over. For buyers inside the European Union Margin Scheme VAT (Second-hand goods) is applied. This means we pay VAT on our earnings and no VAT will be displayed, charged or deducted.

Import taxes and duties

Buyers are responsible for paying whatever customs duties or taxes are due in their country. We are required to put the actual value of the purchase on the customs declaration form. We will under no circumstances declare your purchase as a "Gift". For US buyers: the new US import regulation state that in order for a package to be accepted by US Customs, all duties (tariffs) must be pre-paid. For this reason, we collect the tariff as part of our listing price and pay the tariff to our shipping company who in turn declares and submits the tariff to the US government. We cannot waive this fee under any circumstances.

We accept all returns within 14 days of you receiving your order, no questions asked, but please let us know in advance before shipping anything back. The buyer pays for return shipping. You will get a full refund as soon as your item has been received. We accept exchanges and arrangements are made case by case.

Why do we need a phone number?

In general, we don't, and if you don't feel comfortable giving out your phone number we can usually work around it, but there are some exceptions: United States: shipping orders over 2000 SEK* to the US requires a complete digital customs invoice. This invoice can not be submitted without a valid US phone number and our shipper will not accept a package without this invoice. * 2000 SEK is about USD 210. Updated 13 jan 2026

Vintage ceramic tile or trivet set in a pine wood frame. Designed by Signe Boesen Northroup and made at hers and husband John Northroup's ceramic studio in the mid 1960s. The tile is signed and the frame is marked with a sticker.

Measurements:
- 17 x 17 cm ( 6.5 x 6.5")
- weighs 390 grams (0.9 lb).

In good vintage condition. The tile shows some crazing to the glaze and the frame has some staining on the back.
