•Hand-made in sustainably farmed Vermont Cherry or Walnut hardwood.

•Easy to care for, just hand wash with mild soap & water and dry with a soft cloth.

About the wood we use:
We source our hardwoods from a Bristol, VT mill that uses sustainable harvesting and conservation practices; it’s not far from where we live.
Cherry: Richly-grained honey-colored wood. Cherry usually deepens over time, creating a richer hue. Some darker sap lines may be visible. Cherry wood can be light or light brown.

Spoon Care and Maintenance
Your handmade wooden spoon is sanded to a smooth surface and sealed with food-safe Tried and True oil to seal the wood. Make sure to leave yours out of standing water, and don’t use the dishwasher for cleaning. We hope you will enjoy using and cooking with your spoons daily. The more they are used, the wood will acquire its unique character. Some woods, like cherry, will get darker over time with exposure. You can give your dry spoons a light sanding from time to time with 400 fine grit sandpaper, apply a light coat of oil, let dry, and polish with a soft cloth.

This was actually a Large Spalted Maple spoon. Custom made and one of the most beautiful wooden spoons we’ve ever seen. Just beautiful..! We were shown the wood before it was made and shown the spoon before shipping to see if we liked it. Of course we did and it’s even nicer than it looked in the photo. Thank you..! 😎

Absolutely beautiful spoon. I had previously purchased the walnut spoon; you can read that review also. This is the cherry spoon, and it's just as beautiful. These spoons are such a pleasure to work with. TBH the walnut spoon is so pretty I may not use it. But I've used the cherry spoon a few times and it's a true pleasure. Holding and using it feels like it ups my cooking game, whether or not it does, lol. Brings a new level to the cooking/baking experience. These are luxurious to have for yourself, or they would make a wonderful gift for someone, especially someone who likes to cook.
