For anyone interested in Butterflies and the natural world, this is one of the most beautiful and in-depth works EVER put to print. A gorgeous edition that has been exceptionally well preserved especially considering it was bound almost a century ago. The full-color plate artwork that adorns this lovely book is absolutely stunning. The cover, spine, binding, pages, and artwork are all in very fine condition especially considering their age. This is, without question, the finest and most well-kept edition I have ever owned nor seen. To top it off this is the REAL 1st edition from the publisher and not the 1927 or 1928 reprints. They don't make them this good anymore, and they probably never will. I would snag this one before it's gone.
