Scrappy Patchwork Table Runner Pattern: Beginner Sewing Project (PDF Download)

This gorgeous runner is easier to make than you imagine. Enjoy making your own.
I made the table runner from coordinating fabric scraps. I quilted using straight line quilting. I now use this runner underneath my sewing machine as a sewing mat. I find it great to stop the machine damaging my table as it it just the right size and I can stick my pins in it and not lose them.

This table runner finishes at 18" x 44" and requires the following materials:

• 9 charm squares (5”) or 24 , mini charm squares (2 “)
• 1/3 metre (35cm) or 3/8 yard of light background fabric
• 1/4 metre (25cm) or 1/3 yard of inner border fabric
• 1/4 metre (25cm) or 1/3 yard of outer border fabric
• 3/4 metre (75cm) or 3/4 yard of backing fabric
• 54cm x 1.25m or 22”x 50” batting

Finished Size: 18" x 44"
