The idea to expand the functionality of the press for installing accessories has been ripe for a long time. Those who watch my videos (https://www.youtube.com/c/tissoleather) know that I perform many operations with a modernized press for pressing out bearings. But they are rare, and the press for accessories is more common and familiar to masters who work with leather. For improvement, I took the most budget model, the TEP 2 press.

- First of all, a working surface was needed. We solved this issue by making a round "table" made of hard plastic. It is installed in place of matrices for accessories.

- The next task is to install the tool - nozzles on the press. It would be easier to make nozzles with threads and screw in instead of punches. But not all nozzles have the correct cylindrical shape and will need to adjust their position. That is why we developed an adapter that provides such an opportunity.

- Then work on nozzles. The type of fastening is determined by the adapter, and the height by the working stroke of the press rod. The plans were to make round die-cuts of various diameters, semi-circular cutters, oval die-cuts. From what I managed to complete at the moment, these are oval cutouts. Everything else is 80% ready and needs some finishing touches and will also be available for sale over time.

- Quality hardened oval punches are made using high-precision equipment. Die-cuts of size 5x8mm / 4x20mm / 5x25mm are available. These die-cuts can be used in a variety of ways, they are most often used in the manufacture of belts and bags.

- Now, with a TEP2 press (or similar), you can not only install fittings, but also make holes in materials, work with cutters, make small impressions, etc.

- But the flight of fantasy did not end there. In order to add maximum functionality to all of the above developments, we created a handle on which punches and other attachments can be installed through the same adapter. As well as punches for installing various fittings. And work manually in those cases when using a press is not possible.
