Will this file print on my 3D printer?

These are standard STL files designed to be printable on most home 3D printers. You’ll need: (1) a 3D printer (or access to one), (2) slicing software (Cura/PrusaSlicer/Bambu Studio, etc.). I provide print-friendly models, but results vary by machine and settings. If you’re unsure, message me with your printer model and I’ll help you confirm fit and typical settings.

Is this file printable?

This is a digital download. After purchase you’ll download a .ZIP file containing STL files. You’ll need to unzip/extract the folder first, then import the .STL into your slicer (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, etc.). The models are designed to be printable on most home 3D printers, but print success depends on your printer type, settings, filament/resin, and calibration. If you’re unsure, message me with your printer model and I can help you confirm fit and typical settings.

How do I download the file?

This is a digital download (no physical item will be shipped). After purchase, log into your Etsy account and go to Purchases & Reviews to download your files. Etsy does not email the files/links, so downloading is only done through your account. If you have any trouble finding or downloading the files, send me a message and I’ll help.

Are your designs scalable?

It depends on the design type. Texture rollers scale very well in most slicer programs and can usually be resized up to 6 inches or more. Stamps can be resized to some extent, but some details may become more difficult to print cleanly, especially without supports, so it’s best to resize from the largest size provided. Cutters should not be scaled, since resizing changes the thickness of the cutting edge and can make them less sharp and effective.

Print your own cutters using home 3D printer. You will download four files for beautiful moroccan shape dangles 15mm, 25mm, 35mm and 45mm, plus one STL file with all four cutters ready to print. The cutters can be used for earrings or pendants, or even small cookies. The cutters have sharp 0.4mm cutting edge, 12mm total height, comfortable 4mm top surface with rounded edges and secure 2mm overhang for pulling them out. The designs are compatible with all home 3D printers.

These files are extensively tested on my Ender 3 printer. While the settings depend on the printer model and filament used, here are the settings I use, for reference:

Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer Height: 0.2mm ((optional: reducing layer height to 0.1mm for the top 2-3mm of the cutter will make stronger cutting edge!)
Infill: 15%
Support: not required
Filament: PETG or PLA

I was working on a short stop-motion cartoon and used these shapes to make small trees in multiple scenes. I mixed multiple colors of green & brown clay to create pretty funky & modern-looking, mini-forests. Great file, easy to 3d print and helped me to get the scenes designed quickly.
