18K GOLD FILLED BRASS

These are a more affordable version of permanent 1/20 14K gold filled: • Thin layer of real 18K gold deposited on brass for longer lasting quality (often called "18K gold filled brass" -different from permanent "1/20 14K gold filled”), lead & nickel safe; will patina w/ time and moisture • Note: the color may vary (darker, warmer or lighter gold tone) depending on size, gauge, shipment received or manufacturer. For identical consistent gold color, best to select 1/20 14K gold filled

TARNISHING - Metal beads & Curved tubes

All metal, including Sterling silver, plated or colored will naturally darken, tarnish or fade at some point to some degree depending on environment. 24KT gold plated is very slow tarnishing. Electroplated is much slower tarnishing than regular plating. Double plating is even better. To retard tarnishing, treat with anti tarnish products - We've noticed that regular Gold beads and clasp or findings tend to discolor faster - However, if tarnishing happens, using the same liquid cleaner used for Sterling helps revive the color. We offer several tarnish resistant items listed in the shop. All "Antiqued silver" beads already appear darken or vintage discolored like, some more than others and may, at some point discolor as well.

We do not receive continuous spools of any cords therefore we cannot offer continuous length of cords on 5+ yards - We always do our best to send you continuous length without a FACTORY knot, tapes or glued joints however if you were to order 10-20 yards, you may have 1 or 2 sections of cord - Please feel free to send us a message to ask us if it is possible to find 10 or 15 yards continuous depending on the color and we'll let you know before you place your order

Our leather cords are genuine leather free of Lead, AZO’s, PCP, Mercury dye. Made in India - Usually continuous, may have a factory glue or tape on 1+ yards - May vary in size and color along cord, spool received - Photos do not accurately capture the true color and my be a bit darker, brighter or lighter than real - If you absolutely need the cord to be like the photo, please do not by the listing as you may (or not) be disappointed

ROUND & FLAT LEATHER CORDS

Genuine leather free of Lead, AZO’s, PCP, Mercury dye. Made in India - The base is a natural / brown cord dyed. Softness, texture & color vary among colors, same strand strand, sizes & spools. Note: all flat leather, 2,3,4x1mm & 5x1mm have a factory "soldered glue" to make the cord continuous; at this spot the cord may be thinner or thicker to the touch and may appear cracked or may crack if twisted, knotted or pulled. These cords are strong yet thin, so pulling or knotting them with enough force will crack the cord specially the dainty 1m round cord may break easily - for a sturdier cord get the 2mm thick IE 4x2mm - If you absolutely need the cord to be like the photo, please do not buy the listing as photos are darker / brighter than real

Note: Lengths over 3 or 5 yards and specially all length over 10 yards are not be not continuous and may have 1 or more "soldered glue" or taped pieces to make the cord continuous. The "glued or soldered part may vary in color and texture (sometimes as shown on photo); may also have some manufacturing lints, removable with tape

COTTON CORDS - SPOOLS, CARDS or BUNDLE

If we do not state in title & description that the cord is made in India or Europe, it means the cords are made in CHINA - Depending on the length and type of cord ordered, we often spool the cord of 25-40+ yards on a spool.

ELASTIC, FAUX SUEDE & SATIN NYLON CORDS

ELASTIC Nylon coated rubber: Sizes are within +/- 0.25mm - Softness and elasticity vary among colors, sizes and spool received, some more elastic than others or softer than other color or sizes SATIN NYLON, Polyester & faux suede: Note that each size may not be precise and varies +/- 0.2mm - also, these cords are really soft (feels like silk or satin) and smooth and when spooled may take a twisted shape an appear a bit wrinkled; You can smooth it out by gently (low heat) ironing the cord if necessary and then smooth it out by running your fingers throat the cord. The same factory occurrence is also present, at times on flat Faux Suede
