With the main tool quickly check 8 inch deep strikes. with convenient 5 inch, 4 inch, 2 inch, and .5 inch measurements as well. The middle tool quickly allows you to measure 6 inches and 4 inches for generic movement and finally the combat gauge allows you to track engagement, coherency, and heroic interventions.

This thing is great. Even though the magnets are strong enough to keep the pieces well-secured, the cut outs let you get to the part you need very easily. The markings are bold and clear and measurements are perfect. It's a big improvement from the older 9" model I bought for 40k 10th edition. This one is sturdier, better marked, and has a black finished backing instead of plain wood.

Very nice and exactly as described
There are a lot of these nesting rulers out there, generally following similar design. However, there is an obvious level of professionalism on these, though. Everything is very well aligned, easy to separate, edges and corners smoothed, sturdy, nice finish, highly legible, nice weight. A simple tool very well executed
