Fine art ceramic tile hand made hand glazed hand painted by me, it's a one of a kind. I sketched it directly on the tile and painted it. There are no stencils, decals or transfers involved in my art work.
This is a fired stoneware ceramic tile, handmade by me.
There are no paints involved. All colors are from glaze and underglazes fired on the tile to 2200 degrees F. The surface glaze in clear and shiny.
The back of the tile is unglazed smooth clay.
1/4" thick
size: 8 3/4" wide by approximately 5" length.
do not place directly on a burner or in the oven.
Ceramic is heat proof; but should not be taken from extreme cold to hot or very hot to cold.
Set in a wall with other tiles by using ceramic tile mastic and grout. Or display on a plate or tile stand. You may lay it flat and use as a hot pad or spoon rest.
I only use food safe non toxic glazes.
