You can split landscape OR portrait orientation pages both horizontally AND vertically into:

--- 2. Use the larger row numbers that are upright (the column numbers are smaller and sideways) and decide how many sections you want.
--- 3. Move The Grid Tool around on your page to find where you want to place the rows. Start at 00 to make your first mark, then make marks at each section break. Draw horizontal lines at each mark to create rows.

I've personally used it to split my Daily pages (Dailies) into two evenly spaced columns for a Schedule and Tasks.
I’ve also created three-column, two-row layouts for my Far-Future quarters (6 months total), as well as a three-column Calendex layout of 6 months on a 2-page spread (three months on each page)
Creating a single Monthly (Monthlies) 2-page spread with five rows and four columns on each page used to be a painful 10 minute (or more!) task. But with The Grid Tool, it's quick (3.5 minutes flat!) and easy!
