These feathers are in the brown family with a veriety of shades with some fetahers having striking black middle parts and/ or iridescent parts. They are fluffy gray at the bottom gradually changing color to brown/black shades. They have thin stem and very flexible with lots of movement. They have a fluffy base leading to a smooth skinnier part of the feather.
