1/8" Laser Plywood Sample Pack | Walnut, Basswood, Mahogany, Baltic Birch, Cherry, Sapele, White Birch, MDF, Maple | Laser Safe Wood Blanks

This 1/8" Sample Pack is a convenient and cost-effective way to get a feel for the different types of plywood that we offer and how each performs in your laser.

The Starter Pack includes a total of 9 sheets, all cut with the grain running the length of the sheets. The pack includes one sheet of each species of our different types of 1/8" plywood, allowing you to compare the grain patterns, colors, and laser cut qualities of each one. They've all been tested and frequently used by our customers and in our shop in Glowforge, OMTech, Boss, Epilog, Aeon, Trotec, Xtool and many other lasers including diodes.

Each sample pack is clearly labeled, so you can easily identify and compare the different types of plywood along with recommended settings for cutting and engraving. Whether you're a seasoned laser user or just starting out, the 1/8" Plywood Sample Pack is a great way to see the variety of what we offer!

Choose from a small set which is 5.5"x5.5" or a set of full-sized sheets that are 11.5"x19.0"
3.1mm ≈ 1/8″ (+/- .25mm)


We take special care in storing, cutting and packaging all of our materials to ensure they are humidity controlled in our shop and strapped before we plastic wrap them for shipping. The downside to any material 1/4" and thinner is that it has a tendency to not stay perfectly flat. It can cup or warp based on changes in temperature, humidity and how it's stored. It’s not because it’s bad plywood but just an effect of the size. Until you're ready to use it, we recommend storing your wood in a balanced temperature environment that's not exposed to drastic changes in humidity or temperature with it weighted down to prevent cupping or warping.
