A GRADE
Every pin is *handmade* so they may differ from one to another.
Standard-grade (or A grade) are the highest grade. A standard-grade pin may have slight imperfections or flaws but they don't detract from the pin at all. They're as close to perfect as possible!
I will always do my best to select the best items for A grade choices.

A- GRADE
As the name suggests, A- grade pins are nearly identical to standard-grade pins except for a cool effect! While unintentional this effect is really cool as it catches the light and features streaks going up and down, side to side or even all ways between the spikes. I think these look incredible! I've graded them as A- grades instead of standard because it was unintentional.


B-GRADE
B-grade or Seconds Pins are pins with small but visible flaws and imperfections. The pins are still beautiful and function perfectly well because the flaws are fairly minor but they are there. Think of noticeable scratches, under-filled enamel or unintentional marks. These are sold as a B-grade option at a discount.

C-GRADE
C-grade pins are the lowest grade of all and have noticeable (and what I would consider major) flaws. This could range from cracked or chipped enamel or a broken or very loose pin on the backside. These pins don't live up to what they are meant to be. For those with a love of pins and a smaller wallet they may still make someone happy. I sell these as low as I can possibly sell them at a significant discount. *What is pin grading?*
Because pins are handmade there's a lot of variation in the individual products. As pin creators this means we go through all the pins and 'grade' them one by one. While each maker has their own standards, this roughly means that Standard or A grade pins are as perfect as they possibly can be, B-grade pins have noticeable flaws that don't detract from the enjoyment of the pin and C-grade are often a failing grade.
* Please note that the backside is not included in grading since a pin is meant to be viewed from the front, any imperfections to the back therefore don't influence the grade unless it affects its usage. In which case it becomes a C-grade pin automatically.
