Welcome to our historically inspired range, The Titans!
Introducing EOS:
In the Ancient Greek mythological pantheon Eos was the Goddess of the dawn, and deliverer of light. She was the daughter of the Titan deities Hyperion and Theia, and Her siblings were the sun god Helios and the moon Goddess Selene. She shares many characteristics, and possibly her theological origins with the goddes of love, Aphrodite, with whom pearls have long been associated.
The pale, warm luminescence of ivory freshwater pearls perfectly evoke the early light of dawn, and the gift of a new day. Pearls are also the birthstone for June, when the dawn is at its earliest, and most promising.
My greatest inspiration as a designer maker is the magic and mystery of the ancient classical world. My beaded 'Hera' collection was my first collection, and its wonderful to revisit the colour and legends of the Ancient Greek and Roman pantheons. Our 'Atlas' and 'Olympus' styles were the first, and we are so excited to be adding further Gods and Goddesses to the range.
Our beaituful 'Eos' earrings are made from solid brass and freshwater pearls, every one unique, in beautiful Cornwall. The brass is hand beaten on a series of anvils, the oldest of which is around 170 years old, giving a uniquely shimmering texture like no other. They are listed in both a gold plated French hook, or a gold plated stud version.
All our jewellery is plastic free, as are our postage and packaging materials. We are always working towards greater and greener consciousness in everything we do. Our beaten brass is solid and raw, and can be left to patina naturally over time, or kept to a golden shine by buffing after wear with the free polishing cloth provided.
We are a small team of working Mums based in rural Cornwall. We work flexibly around our children, look after each other, and we love our job. Thank you for supporting us.
