How is your artwork made?

Some of our artwork is created using a blend of genuine historical paintings, vintage illustrations, and Victorian photographs. We then add animals, people, and other modern elements through digital painting techniques. We also offer fully digital art, created entirely by us using a combination of digital painting techniques with a computer and graphics tablet. These pieces are designed with a vintage style, but contain no actual vintage elements. For more details, please check the individual listing descriptions for each piece.

How are your prints packaged?

Most of our prints up to A3 size are either rolled with acid free tissue paper and packaged in postage tubes or placed in acid free protective cellophane sleeves and posted in reinforced, board backed envelopes. In general A4 and smaller are usually in board back enveloped and A3 and larger are rolled in postage tube, but this may vary. Some items (particularly large or custom sizes) may be packaged differently depending on the printing lab. Our stretched canvas prints, framed prints and some larger sizes are posted directly from our external printing lab. They usually use flat, rigid cardboard boxes (this may vary).

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

All our items are made to order therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If you have any problems or questions about your order, send us a message and we'll be happy to help.

What kind of paper do you use for your prints?

We have various paper types available including, professional lustre (semi-gloss) paper, smooth matte art paper and textured matte art paper. We also offer framed prints, stretched canvas prints and framed canvas prints. There is more information on each option in the product details section of each of our listings.

Are your prints framed?

We have options for both framed and unframed prints for most of our artwork. Check out our listing details or send us a message for more information. We also offer stretched canvas prints which can be hung straight on the wall without a frame in most cases.

Do you offer canvas prints?

Yes! Most of our artwork is available on stretched canvas or framed canvas in various sizes. If you don't see the option on the listing, drop us a message and we'll let you know if it can be printed on canvas. Our canvas prints are printed on artist-grade cotton substrate canvas using Giclée printing methods. They are then then hand stretched over a high quality wooden frame and shipped directly from our external printing lab.

What happens if my order gets lost by the postage company?

Delivery can take up to 15 business days for UK orders and 28 business days for international orders. If your item hasn't arrived after this time, please check with your local post office, delivery office, neighbors and any safe places on the delivery property. If it still hasn't turned up, please contact us via Etsy message and we will contact the postage company and arrange a replacement where possible. You must contact us within 60 days of the date of dispatch. After this, we are unable to process claims for lost items. Please ensure your delivery address is correct and shown in full when ordering, this is the full responsibility of the buyer. We will not replace or refund orders lost due to the wrong address being provided to us.

- Lustre Paper - Our artwork is printed on beautiful high quality lustre paper as standard with a satin (semi-gloss) finish. Print only, not framed. Available in all listed sizes.

- Smooth Matte Fine Art Paper - Professional fine art paper with a matte (no sheen) finish & smooth surface. Print only, not framed. Available in all listed sizes.

- Textured Matte Fine Art Paper - Gorgeous professional matte (no sheen) textured fine art paper which gives the image a painting style look. This paper is acid free and archival and has a totally matte finish with no sheen / shine to it which means it has low contrast. Print only, not framed. Available in 6x4", 7x5", A4 & A3 sizes.

- Framed Prints -
Our framed print are carefully made to order in our print lab using sustainably sourced wood (approx. 2cm / 20mm width) with a black satin laminated finish. Each frames comes with a Perspex glaze on the front for added protection. The art is printed gorgeous museum-quality fine art paper which has a matte (no sheen) finish using Giclée printing methods. Please note that the sizes refer to the approx. size of the print within the frame. The full size including the frame will be slightly larger. Available in 8x12", 12x18", 16x24" & 24x36".

- Stretched Canvas Prints -
Our canvas prints are made using professional lab 12-colour Giclée printing on gorgeous 400gsm artist-grade cotton substrate canvas which is then hand stretched over a 38mm wooden frame with a white wrap / edge. All our canvas are hand finished by expert canvas framers to ensure the highest quality. Available in 8x12", 12x18", 16x24" & 24x36".

This piece was lovingly created by us using a mixture of digital painting techniques with a computer and graphics tablet in our design studio in Scotland, UK. It is fully digital graphic artwork which we have made in the style of a vintage painting.

Due to variations in different screens and devices the colours / brightness / contrast / saturation / vibrancy etc. may look different on the screen than on the printed image. Our prints will always be accurate to our original artwork, but unfortunately we have no control over how they look on different screens and devices.

Our standard postage / delivery is not a tracked service. If you would like tracking you can upgrade your postage when ordering. Please note that international (non-UK) orders usually take approx. 2-4 weeks to arrive.

Please ensure your name and address are correct and shown in full when ordering. This is very important. We cannot change or edit the address after your order has been placed. Items will be sent to the address shown on the order. It is the full responsibility of the buyer to ensure the address is correct when ordering.
