How long does it take to make an item?

Because we source local lumber, we aim to have everything out that is in stock within a couple of weeks. If we have to source and dry something that's not in stock, it can extend the delivery time by a few weeks. Please refer to product listings for specific production times.

What are your production and shipping times?

Please refer to each product listing for production time, plus an additional 3-5 business days for shipping. Table tops and legs ship separately to allow for easy transport into home. We offer free FedEx “curbside” delivery on all of our products. We also offer an upgraded White Glove Delivery option. Please contact us for more information regarding White Glove Delivery.

What can I expect from a wood table?

Because every piece of wood is different, the grain patterns, coloration, and overall style can be quite different from piece to piece. Your item may contain small cracks which will be filled in with epoxy, cracks that need bow ties to keep the wood in place, knot holes, worm holes, and other slight imperfections from time to time. These are not structural, and will not effect the item over time. We cannot guarantee that a product won't have any of these, as we source real wood which can have slight variations.

Other than our shelves, all of our products are finished with conversion varnish. We recommend dusting with a polish-moistened or damp cloth following the grain. Remove residues with a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild detergent or soap and warm water. Keep wood surfaces dry - wipe up spills, splatters and water spots as soon as they occur and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Polishes (not silicones or waxes) are the best choice for cleaning your wood finish. Our shelves are finished with 0% VOC plant-based Rubio Monocoat. Using a damp rag with clean water is sufficient for the regular cleaning of your oiled furniture. Remember that wood and water do not mix, so using a damp rag means your rag should not be “dripping wet” when cleaning.

We handcraft everything from scratch, in some cases drying the wood ourselves to be sure of its quality before it makes it into your home. We're a team of woodworkers that are passionate about creating bespoke furniture that is made to your specifications. We only use high end finishes and brackets, because we believe in quality.

Our box mantel is finished with a 0% VOC plant-based finish, so you'll feel good about putting this piece in your home.

Sizing:

The mantel is a 6" x 6" box and you will select the length desired, up to 96". If you need a custom size, please reach out and we will be happy to accommodate.

Shipping:

The mantel and the hanging cleat will be shipped together. We aim to get the item out within 6 weeks. Shipping can take up to an additional 7 days.

Installation:

The hanging cleat must be installed into a solid surface such as a stud, masonry (concrete/brick), or otherwise solid surface. Incorrect mounting could result in a mantle that cannot support the weight. A drill, level, and tape measure will be required for installation.

Great product and awesome service! We bought a walnut fireplace mantel so we could have something to hang our Christmas stockings on. The mantel came in on time and looked great. Unfortunately, it came in with a couple of small dings on the sides from shipping. We contacted Zack and sent him some photos of the damage. The company sent us a replacement without any hesitation. It's a great beautifully made product that we get to enjoy every day now. It was made very well and was super easy to install. We highly recommend this product and this company!
